There are many wildlife destinations within a short distance of Random Harvest Country Accommodation in Muldersdrift.

Our Bed & Breakfast is at the centre of many of the finest tourist attractions in Gauteng while at the same time being in the quiet of the natural countryside.

The Lion and Rhino Park and Wonder Cave

The Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve is one of Gauteng’s oldest established wildlife parks, and Jo'burg's most accessible safari experience.This reserve is only a short 20 minute driving distance from our guesthouse; it is especially appealing for wildlife enthusiasts and families who are eager to experience Africa’s famous wild animals. At the Rhino and Lion Park you expect to see four of the Big Five, namely lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo; there are also other rare and endangered species to be seen too.

Krugersdorp Game Reserve

The Kruger Game Reserve is another wildlife reserve which is only a day’s drive from our bed and breakfast. The small reserve offers a wide diversity of both bird and wildlife.
It is home to 30 mammals and over 200 recorded bird species. It is an intimate reserve that offers all of its visitors a guaranteed true African safari experience. 

Montecasino Bird Park

Montecasino Bird Gardens located in Fourways is a mere 30 minute drive from our bed and breakfast accommodation and is the only facility of its kind in Africa. Families and nature-lovers can experience the true phenomenon of African birdlife and other small creatures.
Montecasino Bird Gardens is home to over 1200 mammals, reptiles, amphibians and over 165 species of bird. It has one of the largest and most diverse private collections of African cycads in the world with over 33 different species and over 300 individual plants. 
This park offers an educational and entertaining presentation called "Flight of Fantasy”. It is a display of many birds in unrestrained flight, this presentation is breath-taking and will never disappoint.

De Wildt Cheetah Centre

The Cheetah Centre was established in 1971 and is a 45 minute drive from our travel B & B, its initial purpose was to be used to breed cheetah cubs. The Centre has successfully bred over 800 cheetah cubs over the past 40 years.  Various conservation projects have been initiated such as effective African wild dog breeding programme since the foundation of the centre.
The centre known as the De Wildt Cheetah Centre the name has recently been renamed the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre as a tribute to the woman who has dedicated her life to the survival of the cheetahs as well as other rare and endangered species.

Mountain Sanctuary Park

Nestled in the Magaliesberg Mountains is the privately owned Mountain Sanctuary Park. This park is only 1.5 hour drive from our country inn; here guests can experience true peace and tranquillity. 
The mountains are 2-3 billion years old; the majestic massifs stand grand and beautifully untouched, all-encompassing some of the most stunningly crystal clear mountain pools along with extraordinary rock formations, inviting you into a world of true harmony and absolute serenity.
