Description

Lampranthus sp. ‘Pink’ is a very hardy, fast-growing, hybrid, perennial shrublet with succulent, finger-like, grey-green leaves.

In late winter and spring it bears masses of brilliant-pink flowers that light up the garden.They seem to glitter in the sunlight.The flowers attract numerous pollinating insects including butterflies, to the garden.

This species looks beautiful growing in amongst rocks and in containers.Prune lightly after flowering.Plant in full sun as the flowers close in low light.

They require well-drained soil and minimal watering.
