Description

Plectranthus ciliatus is an evergreen, perennial groundcover that is found on forest floors.  Trailing, softly hairy stems will root where they touch the ground.
The leaves are a bright to dark, lush green on top and purplish maroon underneath. They are also covered in short, soft hairs.
The flowers are white with purple dots in them, and are borne in spikes above the leaves from September to May. Grow this beautiful groundcover in shade to semi-shade in damp, well drained and very loamy, well-composted soil. Also makes an outstanding container plant for pots and hanging baskets.
