Random Harvest Newsletter - December Bird Walk

Posted On: Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Dear Indigenous Enthusiast,

I have been asked by some of our less experienced birders to organise a guided bird walk.

I am pleased to let you know that my brother Paul will be taking a bird walk at Random Harvest on Saturday 18th December. His focus will be on how to identify birds in their habitat.

This makes Bird ID much easier and more accurate. Paul's knowledge of habitat is vast. This should be an interesting and fascinating morning.

We are only able to accommodate 10 people. Please call David on 082-553-0598 to book your space. We will meet at Random Harvest at 7.00am on 18th December for coffee and biscuits and then go on the walk. There is no charge for this event but it is on a first come first served basis.

CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

If you are looking for that last minute Christmas Present we have new stock of the beautiful bird paintings on slate.

I get so tempted with them I just want them all they are so gorgeous and are really reasonably priced from only R70.00.

Give a living Christmas present of a potted succulent garden that will grow indoors or outdoors out of strong direct sunlight.

Priced at just R79.50 these little works of art will give years of pleasure with a minimum of care.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

We are open on the 16th and 27th December but closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

I hope you have a wonderful festive season and I wish to happiness and peace in the New Year - continue the good work of planting indigenous and creating habitat for all those wonderful creatures that share our world.

Sincerely

Linda
